DevonLive reports: Popular Paignton town centre pub the Isaac Merritt is up for sale for just under half a million pounds.
And it comes with proposals to build a huge five-storey apartment block above the venue. The Isaac Merritt has been given a £450,000 guide price by auctioneers Pugh, and is being let on a seven-year lease which runs until 2027 at a rent of £67,600 a year.
