In a statement on their website, a Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue spokesperson said: "We were called just after midnight about a thatch fire at the Tradesman's Arms pub in Stokenham, near Kingsbridge.
The fire is believed to have started in the kitchen and has affected the pub and three terraced thatch properties."
