The inaugural RamsFest Beer & CIder Festival took place over the weekend of 19/20 August 2022 at Kingsteignton Athletic Football Club. There were 15 Beers and 9 ciders/perries to choose from. All beers and ciders were £3.50 per pint, paid for with tokens costing £1.75 each.
The football club is fortunate to lie in a quiet sunny spot on the edge of Kingsteignton. The clubhouse and grounds are carefully maintained, making it the perfect venue for a small, friendly festival.
Thanks to Clive, the cellarman, all the beers were all in fine form and at just the right temperature. Timothy Taylor Landlord and Adnam's Ghost Ship both proved popular.
There were numerous events planned over the two days of the festival, including, football matches and Martial Arts demonstrations, all overseen by the Newton Abbot Town Crier. The Craving and Rockafellas were due to perform on Friday and Saturday evenings.
Congratulations must go to Dave Buckler who organised the event, I'm sure it will be the first of many!
