Dartmouth Social

We had a surprisingly sunny day for our April Mid Week Social. Most of us met in Dudley's Café for a pre-crawl breakfast, generously discounted by 10%.
By the time we met in the Seven Stars there were 19 of us, Legend being a popular choice here.
Our next call was the Dartmouth Arms, pleasantly situated on the edge of Bayard's Cove. The choice here was between Sharp's Twin Coast and Legend.
From here it was onto the Dartmouth Yacht Club on the Embankment with splendid views of the river. Tribute and Otter Yotter were on here.
So far the beers had been run of the mill, so it was onto the Cherub in the hope of something a little different. more choice here: Proper Job, Jail Ale, Exeter's 'Fraid Not, Exmoor Antler and Brain's Rev James. We stayed a little longer here!
The Conservative Club had generously agreed to open early for us, so just after 3pm we climbed the stairs to the club. Exeter's Avocet, Legend and Salcombe Shingle Bay awaited us here.
Next call was the Dolphin, a pub generously adorned with flags and various awards. There were two cask ales available Theakston's Devon Dawn and Brew York Pale, both new beers to most of us.
Last pub of the day was the Ship in Dock where Purity UBU and Exeter Avocet awaited us.
Members now scattered to catch their chosen buses homeward.

The Cherub The happy crew! .
