THE BEERS
Moho, Mantle Brewery 4.3 % alc – One of the Mayors favourites and from his hometown of Cardigan. Aromatic Welsh Pale Ale, hopped with two different American varieties. A light-coloured Ale, bursting with flavour.
In Cask, this beer was a Champion Beer of Britain Finalist in 2017 & 2018 & Champion Beer of Wales Runner Up, Bitters in 2017 & 2018. Sponsored with thanks by Cardi Builders, Cardigan
Cwrw Teifi, Mantle Brewery 4.5% alc - A copper coloured best bitter, malt driven, full flavoured and well balanced with British and European Hops, leading to a pleasing bitter finish.
2018 Great Taste 1 star award.

Bass, 4.4 % alc – This historic beer has been a personal favourite of the mayor and first sampled in the 1980’s while working in Shrewsbury. standard Classic British Amber Bitter. “A Caramel Malt and sweet opening and fruity texture, leaving behind a well-balanced sweet bitter moreish finish”. Boddingtons, J.W. Lees - 3.8% alc – The cream of Manchester. An historic beer, first sampled by the mayor in the 1980s when he worked at Parkside Hospital, Macclesfield, Cheshire. Do not be put off by the % on this beer, as it will creep up on you. Sponsored with thanks by Lady’s Mile Holiday Park.
Pale Rider, Copperhead Brewery, Totnes. 4.1% alc. - Come for the bright smack of apricot atop the tasty hobnob. Stay for the one refreshing snap after another. This one’s quick on the draw. Sponsored with thanks by Soft Scoop, Dawlish.
Jail Ale, Dartmoor Brewery 4.8% alc. - award-winning Jail Ale. A full-bodied, deep amber beer, with light red hues. Jail Ale has a well-rounded flavour and a rich, moreish aftertaste. We’re proud to have achieved many top awards with Jail Ale in the Premium Bitter categories at numerous beer festivals.

Legend, Dartmoor Brewery. 4.4% alc. - A classic bitter: smooth, full-flavoured and balanced, with a crisp malt fruit finish. Legend is golden amber in colour with an aroma of fresh baked bread and a hint of spice. Launched in 2010, this modern-day beer represents the very best of traditional brewing. Island Street Porter, Salcombe Brewery 5.9& alc. -carefully crafted, velvety, delicately bitter porter with just a hint of sweetness. Eight different malts combine to suggest dark chocolate, coffee and black cherry. While the aroma pleasingly suggests Black Forest gateau.

Devon Amber, Salcombe Brewery 3.8% alc. - amber best bitter. This easy drinking malt driven bitter has a dry yet sweet finish.
Life Saver, Salcombe Brewery 4.8%alcc. - a deep chestnut coloured ale with a sweet chocolatey aroma. The use of torrefied wheat brings body and depth to the sweet malty ale.
Gold, Salcombe Brewery 4.2 % alc. - is a light straw gold ale with a long hoppy finish thanks to some of the USA’s finest exports: Amarillo, Chinook and Citra. A sweet citrus aroma followed by subtle flavours of melon, apricot and peach.
Seahorse, Salcombe Brewery 4.4% alc. - is an amber ale with a name reflecting that the Salcombe Ria is a haven for both British species of Seahorse. A sweet and smooth ale with a gentle spicy hop character, hints of burnt caramel and a smoked malty finish.
We have joined forces with The Seahorse Trust to help conserve these amazing animals, donating 5p a bottle towards their work.
Shingle Bay, Salcombe Brewery 4.2% alc. - has a fruity aroma of blackberry and spiced fruit. This golden ale is very easy drinking, with a crisp bite. Sponsored with thanks by Salcombe Brewery.
Avocet, Exeter Brewery 3.9% alc. - Devon's organic ale. Light straw in colour with light hoppy & toffee aroma. Mild fruit, vanilla & light citrus taste.

6X, Wadworth Brewery, 4.1%alc. - This hand-crafted ale is a timeless amber-hued beer distinctively full bodied and eminently drinkable.

Hennsford Press Cider
one medium sweet and one medium dry.
Hensford Press is a family business pressed from their orchard of 100 trees. Apples are grown naturally without the use of chemicals and are 100% hand picked and pressed. Made of traditional vintage cider apples, Dabinet, Kingston Black, Porters Perfection etc.
It will be made from pure apple juice with no added sugar or sweeteners.

Two Trees (perry)
Perry, Medium, 4.5 abv. A pale, fruity perry with an aroma of fruit and a hint of honey on the palate. Crowned 2015 Champion Perry of Britain. Suitable for vegetarians, vegans and coeliacs. Contains sulphites.
Black Dragon
This 3.25 abv. special reserve cider has been hand crafted exclusively from cider apples grown by traditional methods in ageing orchards. The juice pressed from these apples is fermented and matured to produce a cider rich in colour; body and flavour with a fresh fruity aroma.
Happy Daze
Who can resist a light, bright, fruity glass of Happy Daze? At 4.5 abv It's got a smooth and fresh tasting finish. It's a light and very easy to drink medium cider.
Bollhayes Elderflower Cider - 5% abv Light, floral elderflower cider with a crisp apple backbone. Gently aromatic, refreshing and balanced, with subtle sweetness and a clean, smooth finish. Perfect for easy drinking.
Bollhayes Farmhouse Dry Dry 6.5% Made from the pure juice of apples grown in orchards in and around the Blackdown Hills on the Devon/Somerset border. A traditional West Country still cider made from a blend of classic cider apples, with a golden colour and rich flavour, with well-balanced tannins. A very good accompaniment to savoury food.
