Salcombe Brewery’s renowned Island Street Porter has reached the final stages of CAMRA’s Champion Beer of Britain awards.

At the recent Maltingsfest at Newton Abbot, Head Brewer Sam Beaman was presented with a certificate by Dave Buckler from South Devon CAMRA, pictured below with Steve Murray, Regional CBOB Co-ordinator.

Visitors to Maltingsfest had the opportunity to judge the ale themselves, it was obviously well received with the cask being finished on the Friday of the festival with a day to go.
