Situated in the picturesque village of South Pool, most of this 17th-century pub's trade in the summer comes from walkers and boaters using the tidal South Pool Creek. The courtyard is covered by a canopy, and Aylesbury ducks swim by the rear terrace. The chef has built up a a good reputation with his award winning food. Sunday roasts are served at 2.30pm before either a jazz or folk session commences at 4pm. The house beer is IPA from Red Rock Brewery
