See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.
Having been closed and derelict for nigh on six years, it was restored and reopened in 2011. With a village shop added within the premises in 2013, it is now one of the liveliest community pubs in the South Hams. The shop is open from 9:30 until the pub closes. It has both a Lounge with a log fire and a Public bar, together with a sun deck and terrace at the rear. Monday is quiz night, Tuesday 'Music Hall' evening, Saturday mornings is buffet breakfast (all you can eat), with Steak Night in the evening, and a Sunday Carvery from 12-4. There is a Pudding club meeting once a month. A Beer Festival is held annually.
