This Grade II listed 15th-century inn at the top of historic Totnes has featured consistently in the GBG, keeping it strictly local on the ale and cider front. It's tag line 'the Little Pub with a Big Garden', sums it up. There are heated undercover areas as well as a sunny courtyard and inside is cozy with a fire in the front bar. Its a community-minded, friendly pub hosting many social groups, various book clubs and 'purl & a pint' amongst them, as well as live music including Tuesday folk sessions, jazz on Sundays, singer-songwriter and open mic nights; check social media to see what’s happening.
