Old cosy and comfortable road side single bar pub with plenty of seating in the bar area plus a separate dining room, situated on the A381 halfway between Totnes and both Dartmouth and Kingsbridge. There has been a hostelry on this site for many centuries, the current inn having been built in 1874, following the destruction of the previous premises by fire.
