A 13th-century thatched inn which was originally three separate farm buildings known as Rowhill Farm. The surrounding fields were once an encampment for Cromwell's troops in the Civil War (1642-1651), prior to their attack on the Royalist Forces at nearby Ugbrooke House. Recently changed hands and totally refurbished, but still retaining its old charm.
