This pub was the Half Moon in a previous incarnation. Now with long standing and awarding winning licensees, customers receive a warm welcome to this community oriented establishment with a strong local following. There is one simple bar with sporting events shown on TV screens, a Tuesday quiz, Wednesday Bingo and Friday/Saturday night Karaoke. Situated half way between the railway station and the bus bays, it is both an unofficial ‘waiting room’ for both - and an excellent retreat from the nearby town centre.
