CAMRA Kernow Falmouth Beer Festival 2019
CAMRA Kernow Falmouth Beer Festival 2019
Marquees on Falmouth’s Events Square Waterfront will host the 2019 Falmouth Beer Festival on Thursday 3rd, Friday 4th & Saturday 5th October 2019. Featuring over 245 Real Ales, 80 Ciders, 20 Cornish Craft Beers, and 15 Cornish Gins, a mouth-watering selection of Street food, with Tutored Tastings across beer & Ciders, and a host of local singers, musicians and bands.
We would love you to join us celebrating Brand Cornwall. This year our theme reflects upon the Counties proud mining history whilst welcoming the nationwide success of Cornish Food & Drink, with the festival centred around the backbone of our largest ever selection of Cornish Ales. The festival’s glassware and shirts echoing the theme and providing a memento of the occasion.
The Cornish Bar again provides the backbone to our festival, after completely selling out last year we have upped the number to over 140 Cornish beers, the largest single range of Cornish Beers on one bar in the South West. The Out of County Bar will host over 100 beers including a selection of old favourites and brand new brews. Again this year will look to extend our range of Vegan and Gluten-Free beers to cater for as many festival friends as we can.
The Cider bar will serve a good blend of both traditional Ciders and Scrumpy alongside some fruit flavoured Ciders and traditional Perry's. A must try is the St Ives Forager, after winning at last year’s Falmouth Beer Festival Cider awards and progressing to the national competition. Forager was awarded Silver in CAMRAs national Cider Awards. Keep an eye out for all of this year’s winners. What be your favourite?
Last year we introduced our Cornish Craft Bar and Cornish Gin Bar. Well they're here to stay! The feedback was that they complement the traditional beer festival range and offer options to the non-ale and cider drinkers. Were all about being inclusive in CAMRA and welcome all festival goers, hoping everyone can enjoy the ambience of the Falmouth Beer Festival.
Every year we seek a selection of very best local street food vendors to enrich our Festival offering. This year you will not be disappointed with a wide selection of both cuisines that originate from around the world and locally. Ranging from local game burgers, to Asian Curries, the freshest of seafood, and the flavours of Mexico and Latin American. Including Vegetarian and Vegan offerings.
We have lined up a local some local talent to both entertain and educate. With our Cornish Brewers and Cider Producers leading tutored tastings and share their brew secrets followed by local singer songwriters, singers and musicians ending the each night with the full band experience of both Small Wonder and the aptly named Cyderfex.
