    Exciting News!!! Black Tor’s Sunshine Pale Ale is being brewed right now!!!

    The Citra hops smell gorgeous. Over 25 casks have already been pre-ordered. What a fantastic beer this has already proven to be in only its 2nd year. Many thanks to Jonathan at Black Tor Brewery for making it the official Sunshine Beer and Cider Festival Beer.

    We will be running a minibus on the day -

    Meet at Newton Abbot Railway Station 1.30pm

    Arrive - 2.00pm

    Beer Launch - 2 30pm

    Beer Festvial Meeting - 4.00pm

    Leave - 6.00pm

    Midweek crawl to Torquay, Babbacombe and St Marychurch ' Beers by the seaside'.

    Meet 11.00 am in the Hole in the Wall Torquay, then 22/122 bus to Babbacombe downs, walk across the Downs ( all fairly flat) sampling acouple of pubs, lunch at Hanbury's then on to St marychurch with a choice of pubs including the Crown and Sceptre. Back on the bus to the Kents in Wellswood and then back to Torquay.

    Abbfest is a volunteer run, charity festival that raises money for local charities and organisations. Over the 14 years Abbfest has been running over £220,000 has been raised. We are entirely run by volunteers. Without our volunteers, sponsors and most importantly, attendees this wouldn't have been possible, a big Thank You to all who help put the festival together and support us.

    Abbfest's main aim is to to raise funds for our community and local charities by staging a Festival, or other activity as determined by the Trustees, and by doing so promote local drink, food, craft and entertainment. Every year Abbfest hosts a wonderful weekend full of live music, locally produced beer & cider, chef demonstrations and a food & craft market full of local artisan producers

    Falmouth Beer Festival & Falmouth Beer Week

    Marquees on Falmouth’s Events Square Waterfront will host the 2019 Falmouth Beer Festival on Thursday 3rd, Friday 4th & Saturday 5th October 2019. Featuring over 245 Real Ales, 85 Ciders, 20 Cornish Craft Beers, and 15 Cornish Gins, a mouth-watering selection of Street food, with Tutored Tastings across beer & Ciders, and a host of local singers, musicians and bands.

    We would love you to join us celebrating Brand Cornwall. This year our theme reflects upon the Counties proud mining history whilst welcoming the nationwide success of Cornish Food & Drink, with the festival centred around the backbone of our largest ever selection of Cornish Ales. The festival’s glassware and shirts echoing the theme and providing a memento of the occasion.

    Opening times: Thursday 20.00 – 23.00; Friday and Saturday 11.00 – 23.00. Entrance charges: A daily £10 Entry Package or A Weekend £15 Package includes: Festival admission, £4.95 of beer tokens, a festival glass and a festival programme. CAMRA members will receive an additional £1.65 of beer tokens. There is wheelchair access & disabled facilities. £3 Entrance fee for non-drinkers with soft drinks available for purchase. Pre-festival tickets sales enable weekend tickets to be purchased for the price of a Daily package.

    A £1.00 refund is available on return of each undamaged festival glass. Additional beer tokens can be purchased at designated points throughout festival venue. All unused tokens can be redeemed for full face value. You will be able to join as a CAMRA member on the day and receive 2 free festival pints alongside the discounted festivals, holidays and lots more.
